Take into consideration that is not recommended to install the driver on Operating Systems other than stated ones. The installer will be present on the desktop once completed: click on it and follow the instructions to install it.The package provides the installation files for CSR Bluetooth Remote Control Device Driver version 5.0.11.0.
These files must be downloaded and executed in the same way.
Our Mac OSX files are also self-extracting.
You can find instructions for installing drivers in the Windows Help file. Sometimes, there is no installer because you have to install your driver through the Windows “Add a device” function. After extracting the files to a disk or special directory, locate the installer, usually called “setup.exe” or “install.exe”, and then click on it to start the installation. Note that these files will only be self-extracting if they are run from Windows. You can also extract or move these files to a floppy disk. Click on the file to automatically extract the software and the associated files in your new folder. Create a new folder and move the file to it. When prompted, set the destination on your desk. In most cases, the Windows drivers found here are “self-extracting” (.exe) files. That said, I do not think anyone in the lab is using a Bluetooth computer, so I’m in an optimal environment. I did not notice a drop in the connection compared to a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, which can be interrupted by other wireless connections. Blinks to inform you about the Bluetooth transmission, which means that there is no doubt that it works or not, but it never stops blinking, which I guess can be annoying quickly on a laptop in a dark room. This dongle is big enough to allow me to disconnect it easily. If I have to choose something negative, it’s because the blue status light is quickly annoying. In my case, when I connect the dongle to a public computer, I have to be able to disconnect it without any problem. Logitech’s unifying receivers are really small and difficult to remove from a computer. The dongle is also small, but not too small. If you do not have a Windows 10 computer, you may need to install drivers, but this dongle comes with an 80 mm drive with drivers in case you need it. I connected the dongle to the computer, entered the configuration and associated my keyboard as if the computer had its own bluetooth. Computers run on Windows 10, allowing you to use bluetooth plug and play without having to install drivers. I bought it to connect it with my Logitech K380 keyboard to the computers in the school computer lab and it works perfectly.
